Portofino Coastal Retreat

I enjoyed my stay particularly as the location was excellent - walking distance to almost eveything Positive: The location was excellent. The kitchen and living areas had everything required and were very clean. All linen provided - towels, sheets, pillows were of good quality and the hand soaps, shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms were lovely to use. The unit was family friendly Negative: The remote (fob) to open the car park gate was missing so I couldn't use the car parking space. The host tried to resolve this issue but couldn't get a replacement fob during my stay. This meant I didn't hire a car during my stay which was inconvenient as I was reluctant to park a hire car in a public unsecure site. The couch in the lounge area was stained and needs cleaning or replacing. The main bathroom cupboards also need repairing or replacing. Out door gardens and indoor plants need attention - very dry. Outdoor patio had dried leaves piled in the corners - needed to be tidied and carried away.

Perfect views with a touch of accessories Positive: The space, the decoration of the place the balcony to entertain family and friends. The host was excellent and understanding and that amenities where attended to immediately. Negative: The fact that the beds weren’t made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, rubbish full in the kitchen , dirty pot in the fridge, no toilet paper, gas bottle empty and dirty rubbish on the balcony

Not the greatest experience from the start of the booking to the stay. Positive: The location was close to the venue and close to all needs in the city. Negative: Did not receive confirmation letter or information as to venue. Difficulty finding who to ring as had no correspondence past my booking details. No clear signage for property, being different street number as to signed number. Then upon arrival attempted to call as to gain entry , No one answered phone multiple attempts made, waiting for response, waiting for over one hour. Finally got response and entry, when taking elevator door opens to a musking mouldy smell, sighting sign on wall as to property damage from someone attempteing to gain entry or something like this and asking for information( did not make a great impression and sense of safety. Unable to use Aircon in loungeroom as this leaked leaving water to run accross the tiled floor slipping in this as not aware. Aircon above TV this could have been a fire fire hazard. Did not use Aircon for the rest of the stay.

Well located.photos and ad a bit misleading Positive: It was spacious, well equipped clean and a great location. Negative: The beds were very hard. The pool in advertising stayed a private pool however this was not private and was shared with other residents. There was no clothes dryer.

Very spacious two bedrooms and two bath apartment, minutes to Reef Terminal and restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked as well.
