Very easy check in and great dining/pool area. Loved the stay.

Disappointed. Positive: The location was wonderful. 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from our daughters home. Beds were very comfortable. Getting access to the home very clear. Negative: Arrived late on Friday night..there was a disgusting smell through the unit..absolutely putrid. Worked out the smell was coming from the dishwasher that had stagnant water in it. How this hadn't been noticed by staff ,I can't understand. Messaged office on Saturday, went to leave a message..it cut me off. Went to leave a message twice on Monday..again ,once got cut off, and then was told I was unable to leave a message It was only when we emailed, that we got a reply. But it took till Thursday till this got fixed....6 nights into our stay. We also commented on the A/C in the second bedroom , just blowing air, someone was promptly sent out, but it made no difference. There was a large burn mark on the middle of one of the seats of the sofa..so limited where you could sit. Of the 5 sets of vertical blinds in the unit , only only 1 set could be opened, and moved to one side easily. The sliding door to outside..3 slats missing , unable to be opened, and needed 2 hands on the " wand thing" to move them back. Main bedroom 4 slats missing, unable to be opened or moved. Second bedroom, 1 slats hanging. Lounge area 1 slats hanging..difficult to open and move back Meals area..it was fine. I feel some money needs to be spent bringing the unit up to the standard expected if paying $330 a night to stay in July. I'd be delighted if someone contacted me for a chat 0419 183 499 If these relatively small issues are resolved would be very happy to stay again while visiting family now based in Kewarra Beach. We stayed at four different places in our holiday, from five stars hotel to new apartment but our family liked this house the most because we had our own cozy space. We had the pool all to ourselves, we took walks to the beach and everything was really nice. Great host as well!
