Carinya - Secluded luxury minutes from the beach

Not very happy Positive: Location was good few hundred meters away from the beach and all the cafes and restaurants. The property was very clean and well maintained Negative: So many issues. The property is not a villa. It is one bed room house with a small guest house separate from the main house. We are one family and we had to live separate. The guest house is too small and the ceiling very low. The main gate can’t lock so we had to lock all the door. All the mattresses need an immediate upgrade and all the Aircon’s. These things saw better days. The leather sofa is very old. Maybe some people call it vintage but it is not. The bar chairs are super vintage too. The frying pans need to throw away. As for the swimming pool this should be advertised as a kids pool. The total width is less than 2 meters and the total length is about three meters. An adult can’t use this pool.

Amazing! Positive: It was a great location and well equipped home. The plunge pool was a nice added touch. Negative: Gate latch was a bit sticky so assumed it was locked when first arriving

We enjoyed our time the close assess to beach and restaurants is fantastic Positive: Location to beach and restaurants The room size and privacy Excellent linen provided and towels Some basic pantry items like glad wrap, salt , peeper, paper towels, milk, cold water, etc Negative: The dishwasher was very dirty not maintained well and not stable it moved when you opened the door. The back room fan made a very loud noise it and looked loose. The back TV had no reception. The small bins in bathrooms are very old and rusty. There were dead flies on window ledges upstairs. Just a sense the general up keep and cleaning needs attention considering the cost for a week $4500. The stools on the kitchen looked old as well and a shame the pool wasn’t in the sun and little space to relax by the pool. But overall the size and bedrooms were good and generally the main part of the house was fine. We did address some of these issues at the time but no one turned up to fix the TV and fan or supply salad bowels

Positive: Comfortable, clean, convenient. Thanks for the Chromecast, pool towels, tea and coffee and condiments. Great to have a bathtub. Loved the concertina doors. Short walk to the beach. Quiet location.
