'Dasheri' @ Mango Lagoon Resort

A great place to relax and feel pampered. Positive: Everything! Roomy, well appointed and classy. All the facilities in the apartment met my needs. The complex has great pools, looks fantastic and don’t miss taking a gorgeous photo from the south end behind the pool fence of the resort and hills behind it. Only 8 minutes walk out the back gate to the beach. I liked the fact that Mango Lagoon was away from the busyness of the Main Street. Tim, the owner of the apartment is fantastic; a very friendly guy. Negative: In room 27 if I had the windows open and the guy in 26 smoked it was quite unpleasant.

The apartment was extremely spacious for 2 people; it could easily have fitted several more. Very nicely decorated with thoughtful features for anyone’s taste, e.g. books to read, puzzles, board games, lots of comfortable seating, great kitchen with every type of equipment for cooking. The apartment was cool; hence no air conditioning was needed. Beds were very comfortable and there was good lighting for reading. My only complaint was about the noisy people frequenting the pool very late at night. Australians don’t know how to modulate their voices - always at full volume! The beach was 10 minutes walk.

Overall, I would highly recommend Dasheri for anyone visiting Palm Cove. Positive: We had a delightful stay at Dasheri, Mango Lagoon Resort! The staff were friendly and helpful. Post-checkout, leaving our bags with Reception was not a problem. Our spacious apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and just a 6-minute walk to the beach. The BBQ area was also well-appointed. Negative: Having the use of 4 pools was fantastic. I just wish they were heated.

Positive: Owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and the accommodation was well appointed with everything one could need. Generous supplies provided.
