The location was excellent. The facilities were fantastic.

Fantastic place to stay in the main part of Cairns.

Over all very enjoyable , except for that access charge .
Negative: No-one there to get access on arrival At 11 -15 ,(eventually got in about midnight ) and then get charged $80 dollars for arriving after 6-30 pm. Never had this in 40 years of travel

Pleasant stay apart from the problems cited above.

Negative: · On the Booking.com website, the property is called ‘Harbour View Condo’ and also ‘Harbour View @ Mantra Trilogy’. These names are not visible on the property, which made it difficult to find. Next to the ice ream shop is a large number ‘2’; whether this refers to No 2 Aplin St (the stated address of ‘Harbour View Condo’) or Trilogy Tower 2 is obscure. The property also seems to be called simply ‘Mantra Trilogy’. As well, the address of Mantra Trilogy on the web site (www.mantratrilogy.com.au) is given as ‘101-105 Esplanade’, but the entrance is actually in Abbott St. •Checking in was tedious, as we had to exchange SMSs with Cozie Homes to arrange a meeting place and time (However, the gentleman who met was very friendly and helpful.) •One of the card keys does not work in No 8 door. •The No 8 door closer doesn’t work properly; the door slams with a massive crash. • The apartment is advertised as having a microwave, but there wasn’t one. (A text message said that the oven below the cook top was also a microwave, but this is clearly not possible, as microwave ovens cannot have metal inside and the oven below the cook top has a steel interior and steel shelves.) •There were no instructions for the oven, the air conditioning in Apartment 7 or the air conditioning in Apartment 8. (The air conditioning instructions in the app refer to a totally different system to that in No 7 or No 8.). • The shower drain in No 8 was blocked and the plumber had to come and clean out the hair. •The dehumidifier leaked a substantial amount of water and had to be turned off. •Two of the four kitchen downlights in No 8 don’t work. •The door of the cupboard under the No 8 bathroom hand basin fell off. •The ‘hook’ on the back of the bathroom door of No 8 is loose, as are the cold taps in both bathrooms. •The bathroom and shower in No 8 need to have ‘grab’ handles installed safety reasons. •Parking is totally inadequate; there are far too few spaces available.
